DESCRIPTIONS
DESCRIPTIONSJohannesburg - City of Gold
Johannesburg may not have a coast line or a natural wonder like the mountains around Cape-town. But what it does have is a stunning skyline. During the gold boom, skyscrapers sprung up all over the city, and Africa, the tallest buildings can be found here.
Johannesburg grew at extraordinary speed after gold was discovered on the Witwatersrand in 1886. From its mining origins to the towers of Sandton, the city has reinvented itself as the commercial powerhouse of South Africa.
Our skyline brings together Michelangelo Tower, Hillbrow Tower, ABSA Tower and Marble Towers, capturing some of the architecture and landmarks that make Johannesburg unmistakable.
Exclusively by Siluet‚ where cities become stories, and stories become home.
